Studies show that the secret to long-term fitness isn't intensity—it's consistency. And consistency comes from finding movement you genuinely enjoy.

Consistency Tip: Instead of aiming for the "perfect" workout, commit to simply showing up. Building the habit of moving regularly is what leads to lasting results.

Add some feel-good to your week by booking your next workout ➡️ www.jazzercisecentralcoast.com

🎤 Things you’ll only hear at Jazzercise… 😂

A few of our favourite mic’d up bloopers!

What’s the funniest thing you’ve heard an instructor accidentally say in class? 👇

We train balance, strength and coordination… but we’re still not making any promises about bedtime phone scrolling. 😂📱💪

Women are constantly being told to “lift heavier”… but what does that actually mean?

The right weight is different for everyone. What feels heavy to one person might feel light to someone else.

One thing we do know is this: as we get older, we naturally lose muscle mass if we don’t actively work to maintain it. That’s why strength training is such an important part of your fitness routine. Building muscle helps support your metabolism, improves bone health, and makes everyday life easier.

So how do you know if your weights are heavy enough?

By the end of each strength routine, your muscles should be working hard. Those last few movements should feel challenging, but you should still be able to maintain good technique and form.

A tip we love? Bring two sets of weights to class.

Start with your heavier set, and if your technique starts to suffer, switch to your lighter pair. As you get stronger, you’ll find yourself reaching for the heavier weights more often.

Your goal isn’t to make the routine easier—it’s to keep challenging your muscles.

✨ A few signs it might be time to go heavier:
• You’ve been using the same weights for months and they no longer feel challenging.
• You finish every strength track feeling like you could easily keep going.
• The last part of the routine doesn’t make your muscles work.

Remember, good form always comes first. It’s far better to use a lighter weight with great technique than a heavier weight with poor form.

Small increases over time lead to big results. You’ve probably got more strength than you realise! 💛
