Our Kindergarten children had a wonderful visit to Narangba Valley State School, exploring the Prep environment, visiting the library and meeting Scout, the school's friendly support dog. 🐾📚
It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, ask questions and begin making connections with their future school community. We had the best day! 💚

Last night, we opened our doors to the Mums in our little community for a beautiful workshop with Georgia from Mama Momentum. 💛

We explored Mum guilt, unburdening ourselves, and where our ideas of “motherhood” actually come from.

The big realisation? Our 7-year-old selves can often be writing the narrative we’re still living by today. ✨

We talked about rewriting those stories and how we can role model for our children - not perfection, but self-compassion, boundaries, confidence and what it looks like to be a woman who cares for herself too.

Thank you to Georgia and to all the amazing Mums who showed up, shared and reflected with us. 🫶

Here’s to raising our children while remembering to raise ourselves too. ❤️ 🥂

At Kindulili, we love finding purpose in the simplest things. 🌿

Today, we transformed charcoal from our Bush Kindy fire into beautiful flower artwork, using fingers to blend and create. A simple, meaningful experience that nurtured creativity, mark making and a connection to nature. 🖤🌸

Our Junior Kindy children enjoyed their very first excursion aboard the Kindulili bus, travelling to CREEC for a special Walk on Country with Gubbi Gubbi Elder Lyndon Davis.
Through storytelling and exploring the bush together, the children were encouraged to slow down, listen, observe and connect with Country. It was a beautiful afternoon of curiosity, confidence and meaningful learning.
A heartfelt thank you to Lyndon Davis and the team at CREEC for sharing your stories, knowledge and culture with us. 🌿💚

Today some of our Kindulili Bush Kindy birds have made their way to the EKKA! 💚🐓

Some of the beautiful feathered friends our children get to know during Bush Kindy are now on display for everyone to enjoy. We are so grateful for the wonderful community connections that make experiences like this possible and love being able to share a little piece of our Bush Kindy with the wider community.

A beautiful collection of peacock feathers, kindly shared by one of our children, sparked so much creativity yesterday at Kindulili.

Using clay, the children brought their ideas to life, creating feather trees, feather cars, bouquets of feathers, a replica of the peacock and many other unique creations.

We love seeing children’s imaginations flourish through open-ended experiences, where every idea is valued and celebrated. 🦚

🌟 Ataia 🌟

Twelve months ago, Ataia joined our team while studying her Diploma in Children’s Services. She was finding her feet in the sector and, dare I say it, a little shy.

Over the past year, we have watched her confidence blossom like a plant in the sunshine. She has grown into a capable, caring and valued educator who is an important part of our Kindulili family.

Thank you for all that you bring to our team each day, Ataia. We are so proud of how far you have come and can’t wait to see what the next year brings.
