What an incredible Scholarship Weekend!
I honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single student who stepped onto the stage over the last two days. It takes so much courage to perform on your own, and every single one of you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. The growth, confidence and improvement we’ve seen over the past 12 months has been incredible.
The biggest highlight of the weekend wasn’t the trophies it was the atmosphere. Watching our students cheer each other on, celebrate each other’s successes and genuinely support one another reminded me exactly why I love what we do.
That support doesn’t stop with the students. Our parents create such a positive environment, and I truly believe that’s a huge part of why our dancers show such wonderful sportsmanship. I feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing community around us.
A huge congratulations to all of our overall winners:
🏆 Best Supporter Award - Leyton, you have been our biggest supporter every year and I love that you cheer on every single student who takes the stage.
🌟 Overall Student Choreography - Laine
🏅 Tiny Tots Overall - Abby
🏅 Mini Movers Overall - Aria
🏅 Sub Junior Overall - Isla
🏅 Junior Overall - Matilda-Rose
🏅 Intermediate Overall - Lalita-Bella
🏅 Senior Overall - Izabella
👑 And our Overall Scholarship Winner, receiving 12 months of private lessons - Frankie Burnett! What an incredible achievement. Congratulations!
To every student who performed, please know how proud I am of you. Your hard work, determination and willingness to challenge yourselves is what this weekend is all about.
A massive thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the weekend such a success - Monica, Brooke, Kyra, Olivia, Kel and Archie. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
Thank you to our amazing teaching team Madi, Ally, Layla, Airlie, Bailey, Sofia, Kyra, Belle, Izabella and Charli for everything you do.
A very special thank you to Tracy for once again adjudicating our Scholarship Weekend. Your knowledge, encouragement and constructive feedback are invaluable. Having someone with your experience is especially important for our contortionists, who rarely have the opportunity to receive specialised feedback from someone with such extensive expertise. We are so grateful for the time, care and guidance you give every one of our performers.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came along, cheered loudly, volunteered, encouraged our dancers and helped make this weekend so special.
We would also love for you to share any photos you may have,
either post them here or tag us on Facebook or Instagram, as I was so caught up in the event that I forgot to take photos myself.
