Here are some thoughts about healthy lunchboxes
Packing a balanced school lunch is a great way to fuel a child’s body and mind for a full day of learning and play. A nutritious lunch should include a variety of foods from the five core food groups — fresh fruits, colourful vegetables, wholegrains, lean proteins, and dairy or dairy alternatives. These provide essential vitamins, minerals, and energy to support growth, concentration, and overall wellbeing. Including a mix of textures and flavours, such as crunchy carrot sticks, wholegrain wraps, and a small tub of yogurt, can make healthy eating enjoyable and encourage lifelong good habits.
