😎 Welcome - Mr Ben Playford 😎
Mr Playford joins us for Term 4 as our Head of Special Education Services (HoSES)!
If he’s not in his office, he loves to get out during breaks and play sport with the kids ⚽️
The HoSES is an essential leadership role in our school; providing guidance to staff on how to best support all of our learners, planning for and implementing intervention programs, timetabling our teacher aides so they are used most effectively and leading the Student Services team. While Mr Playford is primarily at Nanango State School, he also supports our cluster schools - Yarraman P-9, Blackbutt SS, Benarkin SS, Tanduringie SS and Cooyar SS.
We are so pleased to have you join us, Mr Playford!

👩🏻‍🏫Thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended our Semester 2 Parent Teacher Interviews!
They are a great opportunity to touch base with your students’ teacher, check in on progress and stay up to date with what’s been happening in their world at school.

This morning, two of our current Prep students, Kassidy and Korbin, joined Mrs Mackay and Miss Jess for a special visit to C&K Nanango to chat about all the great things about Prep at Nanango State School! ⭐️

Kassidy and Korbin did a fantastic job of sharing their school experiences with our Kindy friends, chatting about what they learn in the classroom, their favourite subject, what their mornings look like when they arrive at school, all the fun places to play at lunchtime and just how much they LOVE being a Prep student at Nanango State School!

Thank you to C&K Nanango for having us. We loved visiting and sharing a little glimpse of life at Nanango State School! ♥️💙
