💚 LOCALS HELPING LOCALS – Saturday 29 August! 💚

We’d love to see lots of our FPVC families at Valla Beach Tavern this Saturday from 12–4pm for their Locals Helping Locals fundraiser!

Come down for lunch, enjoy the afternoon and help support our school at the same time. Every food purchase earns you a token — just pop yours in the Frank Partridge VC Public School bucket!

There’ll be other ways to donate and get involved throughout the afternoon too, plus some very entertaining fundraising targets:

🥧 $1,000 raised — Pie the Manager!
🎤 $2,000 raised — The Manager sings a song chosen by the crowd!

So bring the family, grab a feed and help us see how full we can get that FPVC bucket. 💚

Want to lend us a hand on the day?
We’d also love a few parents and P&C supporters who could spare a little time to help out during the afternoon. If you might be available, just comment or send us a PM, email the P&C, or grab one of our office bearers in person. Even a short stint would be very welcome.

Still need a Book Week costume? 👗🕷️

Our free costume popup is set up at the front office right now! Pop in, have a browse and take whatever you need. Princesses, superheroes, Where's Wally, we've got a bit of everything and it won't cost you a cent.

Got costumes at home the kids have outgrown? We'd love them! Drop them at the office any time this week. Every costume shared saves another parent a last minute scramble 😅

📚 Have you logged your books? There are only 44 days left in the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge!

The Challenge closes to students on Friday 18 September, so there's still plenty of time to finish. Even better, any books your child has read since last September count, so they might already be most of the way there without realising it!

Kids can log their books themselves at home. They just sign in to the PRC website using their DoE username and password (the same login they use for the computers at school) and add each book to their reading record.

Kindy to Year 2 need 30 books, and being read to counts. Years 3 to 6 need 20 books.

Every student who completes the Challenge earns a certificate from the Premier, and it's such a lovely way to celebrate reading for fun. This year is also the Challenge's 25th birthday!

What a day! Our P&C canteen was up and running at today's District Athletics Carnival and it was a huge success 🏃‍♀️

A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Lifestyle Group 🧡 Every single drink in our canteen today was generously donated by them, which means every can, popper and bottle of water sold goes straight back to supporting the kids at Frank Partridge VC Public School.

It's this sort of incredible business support that makes our fundraising go so much further, and it means the world to our little school community. When local businesses get behind our P&C, our kids are the ones who win. Their team even popped in to see the canteen in action and we loved having them!

A big thank you also to Nat, our amazing canteen manager, for running the show, and to Shiralee for volunteering on the day as well as anyone who donated baking. We couldn't do it without you 💕

Lolly bag production line in full swing! 🍬

A huge thank you to Krystal and Coreyna, and their star little helpers Keavie, Sam and Joey, for making up all the lolly bags for tomorrow's District Athletics Carnival. What a team!

📣 Reminder: if you want to donate baked goods, please drop them off at EJ Buffin Park on your way to school tomorrow morning. Every plate helps!

🌿 Tomorrow’s the day! 🌿

We’re excited to welcome our future Little Explorers and their families to Frank Partridge VC Public School’s Open Day tomorrow!

If you know a family with a child starting Kindergarten in 2027 (or they’re still deciding on the right school), we’d love for you to share this post or invite them along. It’s a fantastic chance to explore our beautiful school, meet our amazing staff, and see what makes our little school so special.

💚 Current FPVC families: If you’re free tomorrow morning, we’d love to see you too! One of the best things about our school is our welcoming community, and there’s nothing better than new families being greeted by the parents who already call FPVC home. Stop by, say hello, and help us give prospective families a genuine taste of the warmth and friendliness that makes our school unique.

💚 Can You Lend a Hand? 💚

Our P&C canteen will be operating at the District Athletics Carnival Monday 3rd August, and we need a little help from our wonderful school community.

🙋 We’re looking for 2 more volunteers to help on the day (from approximately 9:30am, finish time to be confirmed).

🧁 We’re also calling for baked treats!
If you’re able to donate cakes, slices, muffins, biscuits or other homemade goodies, we’d be incredibly grateful. Treats can be dropped to the school or directly to EJ on Monday morning.

🍬 Can spare 30–60 minutes?
We’re also looking for a couple of helpers to make our popular lolly bags before the carnival. It’s an easy job that makes a big difference!

Days like these are a fantastic fundraiser for our school, and every helping hand means more money goes back into projects and opportunities for our students.

What a night! 💚

Our P&C joined the crew at Valla Beach Tavern for Joker Poker again tonight and this incredible community has done it once more, breaking all records and raising $1,257.25 for the Frank Partridge VC P&C.

What makes it extra special is that so many of the people getting behind us don't even have kids at our school. That's a whole community backing local kids and it means the world.

Huge thanks to the Valla Beach Tavern team and every single person who joined in tonight. Every dollar helps fund the things our P&C does to support students and families at Frank Partridge VC Public School.

Canteen SOS!

We need one helpers from 9:30 to 11:15am mon-fri to keep the canteen running for the kids.

No experience needed, you won’t be solo and you'll be shown exactly what to do.

Can't do the whole stretch? Even an hour from 10 to 11 would help immensely.
