Only a week ago, we launched our ‘Leave A Legacy’ Giving Day campaign that asked our community to consider making a gift to take full advantage of our generous matching donor offer.

As a result, this wonderful community, with support from our donors, has enabled us to confidently move forward and commence the Stage 1 upgrade works to the Multi Purpose Centre.

I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed watching our Giving Day unfold.

The benefits of running a campaign like this go far beyond the dollars raised, as important as they are. They include the joys experienced by our film clip, reading donor comments, the wider Coast community seeing the ‘heart of Johnnies’ through our famous faces, and the provision of an avenue to ‘give back’ or to ‘pay if forward’ in the true spirit of Catholic education.

We’ve all been challenged and stretched to believe that ‘big scary goals’ are achievable.

The last 24 hours-odd have been truly transformational as we ‘coasted’ to achieving our goal – we created a lasting and meaningful legacy together, and for that I am sincerely grateful.
