It's been a big week for the Accell team.
From delivering training across our programs, to farewelling one of our legends! Congratulations to Andy Corson-Crook on his retirement from Accell after more than 10 years with the business. Your loyalty, professionalism and expertise have shaped so much of what we do, and you'll be missed by the whole team. Enjoy this next chapter, Andy!
It was great to catch up with the ARTC team and other training providers at this week's collab meeting. Staying connected across the rail industry is what keeps us all moving in the right direction.

Education is key to rail safety.
At Accell, we believe a well trained workforce is the foundation of a safe rail network. As a specialist Registered Training Organisation for the rail industry, our focus goes beyond ticking compliance boxes. We are committed to building genuine, lasting competency in every learner who walks through our doors.
Rail safety is not just about rules and procedures. It is about instilling the judgement, awareness and confidence that keep workers, colleagues and the public safe every single day.
That is why student centred training, delivered by experienced industry trainers, matters so much. It is how theory becomes practical skill, and how compliance becomes genuine capability.

A lovely afternoon away from the desks on Friday, as the team came together for lunch to celebrate two special occasions.
We wished Frank Feldman a wonderful and well deserved holiday, some time to relax and recharge after all he does for our team.
And we cheered on Patricia Sweeney-Fawcett ahead of her marathon, an incredible effort combined with her fundraising for The Table of St. Francis, supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship in our community.
It is easy to get caught up in the day to day, so it was wonderful to step outside the office, share a meal, and simply enjoy each other's company. Moments like these remind us what a great team we have.
Wishing Frank Feldman a fantastic break, and Patricia Sweeney Fawcett all the best for the big run!

There is something special about training rail workers in the same community where Queensland's next big rail project is taking shape. ๐
This week Nathan Hammermeister delivered SARC, WET, Fatigue, Communications and RCPO training right here on the Sunshine Coast. Skilled workers. Safe networks. Strong communities.
That is the Accell difference ๐

Proud to be at the table. ๐
Last night, Accell had the privilege of attending the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) Queensland Rail Industry Dinner! An incredible evening connecting with the leaders, innovators, and advocates shaping the future of rail in Australia.
As a registered training organisation with over 16 years experience delivering rail industry training, Accell understands firsthand how critical a skilled, competent, and safety-focused workforce is to keeping our networks moving. Events like this remind us why we do what we do.
We were inspired by the keynote from Sally Stannard, Director General of the Department of Transport and Main Roads, and energised by the conversations happening across the room, from infrastructure investment to workforce capability and beyond.
The rail industry is growing. Queensland is investing. And the need for quality, compliant, industry-aligned training has never been greater.
Accell is here and ready for it!

Great to be in Newcastle last week attending the ARTC 2026 RTO Onsite Collaboration Workshop.
Over the two days, it was valuable to connect with other RTOs, Industry Skills Australia and industry stakeholders, sharing insights and working through key focus areas including:
- Training coordination across networks
- Apprenticeship pathways
- National Safeworking Framework
- On-job training and recertifications
- The evolving landscape of online delivery
These sessions are a strong reminder of the importance of collaboration across the rail industry ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance in how we deliver training nationally.
It was also a great opportunity to present on Accellโs scope and direction for 2026, and to hear how others are adapting and improving within their own organisations.
Looking forward to continuing these conversations and strengthening partnerships across the sector.

Great to see another group building capability to support safe and reliable rail operations. Strong focus on practical skills, clear communication and doing the job right! Excellent work by the trainer Nathan Hammermeister, for creating an environment where learners are engaged, supported and focused on achieving real competency.
