Our students loved having their dads, grandads, uncles and special people join us for our Father’s Day Breakfast this morning! It was wonderful to see so many of our families enjoying the morning together. Thank you to everyone who came along! ☕🥓

Our Prep students enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Nagambie Library! They showed great responsibility while walking through town and crossing the roads, before enjoying a fruit snack by the lake.
At the library, they loved listening to stories, completing a library scavenger hunt and spending some time exploring and reading lots of picture story books.

For the past five weeks, 1/2E has been lucky to have student teacher Ms Auld join our classroom for her final placement. From week one, Macey has confidently taken on teaching and quickly become a much-loved member of our class. The students describe her as kind, happy and funny. We have loved watching her teach multiplication in engaging ways, retrieve foam gliders from the trees and remind us all that even teachers can sometimes be a “silly goose”! Macey has also encouraged her students to create the most amazing brochures about Nagambie. She will undoubtedly be an amazing teacher and a wonderful asset to any school. We wish her all the very best as she begins her teaching career! Thanks for spending the past five weeks with us, Macey. We’ve loved every minute! 🌟

What a great day at our House Athletics! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
There was fantastic participation across the day and it was great to see so many of our families there supporting and cheering on our kids.
We finished the day with one of our favourite NPS traditions, the Parents vs Staff vs Grade 6 Relay! This year our Grade 6 team raced home to claim the title!🏆 What a way to finish the day!
Congratulations also to Mitchell House, our 2026 House Athletics champions! 🎉

From our youngest learners to our oldest, it was wonderful to see our whole school community come together to celebrate Book Week and our shared love of stories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so fun! 📚✨

ATHLETICS DAY TIMETABLE

Please note that all times are approximate and may change slightly throughout the day as events progress.

We look forward to seeing many of our families down at the track supporting and encouraging the children. If you're able to lend a hand at any of the events throughout the day - measuring, raking, collecting equipment, recording results, etc. - please feel free to offer your assistance to staff. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

And of course, our annual tradition will continue to finish off the day — the Grade 6s vs Teachers vs Parents 4 x 100m Relay! 🏃‍♂️💨🏆

Any parents keen to pull on the running shoes and represent the parents' team, please let Mrs Smith know at the table during the day.

We can't wait for another fantastic Athletics Day!

Our Prep, 1/2 students enjoyed a Water Watch incursion delivered by GV Water. We learnt about simple changes we can make in our everyday lives to help save water and why conserving this precious resource is so important. This connected beautifully with our Habitats unit, as protecting and conserving water helps to care for the environment and the animals that depend on it.
