Congratulations to Carlos Rubiano who participated in the Darebin Chess Club’s August Allegro Tournament last weekend. Carlos placed 1st in the U12 category, which is an amazing achievement for his first ever chess tournament!

📚✨ What a wonderful Book Week at St Mary’s Myrtleford! ✨📚

We loved seeing our students and staff bring their favourite book characters to life with with creative costumes for our Book Week Parade!

Each class selected a Book Week book to explore and made their own creative displays inspired by their chosen story for the school to enjoy. Yesterday our younger students also had the opportunity to visit Marian College and enjoy some reading together in their library.

A huge thank you to our wonderful school community for coming along and helping us celebrate the joy of books, reading and storytelling!

What a busy and wonderful week at St Mary’s Myrtleford! We’ve celebrated Science Week, said “Bullying. No Way!”, danced, picked flowers, tapped into creativity with clay sculpting and came together for another fantastic assembly.

A very special moment was watching Sarai be awarded a well-deserved Golden Award, followed by a standing ovation from our school community. 💛👏

And a big GO TEAM 1CD! 🎉 Congratulations on winning the Positive Behaviour Points Trophy this fortnight! 🏆

Another week with plenty of reasons to celebrate. What a team!
