What a fun way to celebrate our phonics learning! 🎉

Our Reception class dressed as their favourite phonics flash card and enjoyed fun activities before enjoying a Phonics Food Fest. It was a fantastic day celebrating all the wonderful learning and growth this term. Thank you to our families for your support! 📚🍎

Middle Primary Gold had a fantastic day exploring Monarto Safari Park! Highlights included watching the playful chimpanzee troop, seeing the majestic elephants up close, and learning about the important role conservation plays in protecting wildlife. Students made meaningful connections to their Science learning about habitats, adaptations, life cycles and caring for our environment, while representing our school with curiosity, respect and enthusiasm.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and parent volunteers for their time, support and enthusiasm in making this memorable learning experience possible.

Tomorrow, our school community will come together to take part in The Big Bold Walk for Breast Cancer, supporting everyone who may have been affected by breast cancer, including our own Necia.

🩷 Wear casual clothes with a splash of pink
🪙 Bring a gold coin donation
🚶 Whole-school walk during the day

Every step we take and every dollar raised will help fund vital breast cancer research and show support for those in our community who have been impacted by breast cancer.

🏐🥇 Congratulations to Evie, Abby and Eva on bringing home Gold Medals from the SAPSASA Netball Carnival!

Evie’s Div 4 team went undefeated, while Abby and Eva’s Div 2 team finished equal first with just one loss for the carnival.

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for Murraylands. Well done girls!

CROWS CLINIC COMING TO TOWN! 🔴🔵🟡

Thanks to Thomas Foods International, the Adelaide Crows will be coming to our region to run a Crows Clinic hosted by players from the Men’s AFL Squad.

📆 Tuesday 7th July 2026
⏱️ from 4pm followed by a BBQ and signing session
📍LeMessurier Oval, Ramsay St, Murray Bridge

This clinic will be completely free and will include complementary tickets to AFLW games.

Our Upper Gold students have been busy designing and creating their own cardboard arcade games, inspired by the story of Caine Monroy, a young boy from California who built an entire arcade in his father’s auto repair shop using cardboard and imagination.

Throughout this project, students demonstrated incredible persistence, resilience, reflection and resourcefulness as they worked through challenges and brought their ideas to life. It was wonderful to see so much teamwork, creativity and generosity, with students supporting one another and sharing materials, ideas and encouragement.
