At Goodstart Myaree, we celebrated Book Week by bringing beloved stories to life, with educators dressing up as favourite book characters and engaging children in creative, hands-on experiences that inspired imagination, literacy, and a lifelong love of reading. 📚✨🌈

During Book Week, our Toddler Room at Goodstart Myaree brought Eric Carle’s beloved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Children immersed themselves in the story by exploring nature, creating caterpillars, sorting and feeding foods, and discovering the life cycle of a caterpillar through play and investigation. These rich experiences transformed a treasured book from words on a page into real-world learning, inspiring curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to literacy. Watching children engage with the story in such authentic ways reminds us of the powerful role books play in nurturing imagination, fostering a love of learning, and helping young minds make sense of the world around them. 🐛📚🌿✨

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

National Science Week!

At Goodstart Myaree, we celebrated National Science Week through art, play, and hands-on discovery!
From exploring the plant life cycle to creating volcanoes and enjoying lots of exciting science activities, our little learners investigated, created, and had fun along the way. 🌋🌸✨
