We had a very special visit from Miss Emma, author and illustrator of the beautiful picture book Made on Purpose.

Emma visited our K–2, Stage 2 and Stage 3 classes, sharing her book, the story behind it and answering questions. Her message that we are all made on purpose and loved by God just as we are, was a beautiful reminder for us all.

Emma prayed for us, and we prayed for her too. What a special part of our Book Week celebrations!

Stage 5 visited our friends at Calvary on Tuesday for an afternoon of board games, laughter and connection! From Uno to Connect Four, and even some mindfulness drawing, there was something for everyone. It was such a wonderful opportunity to bond across the generations, build friendships and share in some special moments together. We love our visits to Calvary.

Stage 2 had a wonderful time performing Little Red Boxer Shorts, a fun fractured fairy tale based on Little Red Riding Hood! After weeks of rehearsing, learning their parts, and practising expressive reading, students brought the story to life with costumes and props for a live audience on Monday. There were plenty of laughs, lots of enthusiasm, and some fantastic performances. Well done, Stage 2!

Today we celebrated our wonderful Principal, Mrs Walsh. 💚

We had the privilege of blessing her with flowers, chocolates, heartfelt cards and letters, along with a special video created by our Stage 4 students answering the question: "What if our principal was in the Bible?" It certainly brought plenty of smiles!

Thank you, Mrs Walsh, for your unwavering love, kindness, grace and patience. Your servant-hearted leadership, encouragement and care make Pacific Brook a place where students and staff are valued every single day.

Our Little Sprouts playgroup for tomorrow has been cancelled due to the Secondary Zones Athletics.
We will be back next week, Monday 17th August.

Congratulations to all our primary athletes who competed in the Hunter Zones athletics yesterday. It was a hot, long day but they all did us so proud.
A big congrats to Alakai who took out the 11yo boys age champion.
