Today, our PSSA Boys Football (Soccer) Team played against Maitland Public School at Victoria Park!

The boys played exceptionally well, securing a convincing 4–0 victory to progress to the next round.

It was also wonderful to see our Year 6 students come along to cheer on and support the boys' team. Their encouragement created a fantastic atmosphere and was greatly appreciated.

Last Tuesday, our Stage 3 students participated in a CPR course. Thanks to the generous support of Raine & Horne Muswellbrook this valuable program was provided free of charge to all students.

Throughout the session, students learned the DRSABCD action plan for responding to emergencies and had the opportunity to put their newly acquired skills into practice using CPR manikins. It was a hands-on learning experience that helped build their confidence and understanding of this important life-saving skill.

Today, we proudly celebrate World Principals' Day.

In 2026, Muswellbrook Public School has been fortunate to be guided by the exceptional leadership of Miss Coward throughout Semester 1, and we were delighted to welcome Mr Kerrigan back as Principal at the beginning of Term 3.

Today provides a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to them both for their dedication, commitment, and unwavering support of our students, staff, and school community. Their leadership, care, and passion help make Muswellbrook Public School the wonderful place it is.

We are incredibly grateful for everything they do and truly appreciate how fortunate we are to have such outstanding leaders at our school.

World Principals Day - Friday 7th August 2026

The front office is a sea of colour and creativity today as we celebrate World Principals' Day!
Our students had so much fun unleashing their inner Picasso by completing half a portrait of Mr Kerrigan. From superhero capes and funky hairstyles to impressive moustaches, their creativity certainly shone through!

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Kerrigan for his dedication, leadership and commitment to our school community. We hope he feels truly appreciated today for everything he does!
