That’s a wrap on Term 2! 👏👏

Our end of term assembly was hosted by Towarri House. ❤️❤️

Today’s assembly started with an energetic Footloose line dance performance by our 3-6 students followed by an impressive STEAM showcase featuring a photo presentation from the different classes. 👍👍

It was fantastic to see photos of the students in action, highlighting their hands-on projects and everything they achieved in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math this term. 🛠️✨

It has been a huge term, and everyone is definitely ready for a well-earned rest! 🛌
We wish all our families a safe and happy holiday. Enjoy the break, and we will see students back at school on Tuesday, 21 July.👋

Our Kindergarteners had the absolute best time celebrating their class reward today! The STEAM room was packed with cuddly teddy bears, lots of giggles, and some very happy bellies. 🍩🍇
We treated ourselves to a feast of doughnuts, lollies, Oreos, raspberries, and grapes, all while getting cozy and watching Finding Dory. 🐠✨

Sadly, our little crew wasn't quite complete—we had three sweet friends away today due to sickness. 🤒 The winter bugs are definitely trying to slowly wipe us out right now!

Sending a huge get-well-wish to everyone at home. We missed you so much today! Cross your fingers and toes that the rest of us stay strong and everyone is healthy and happy in time for the holidays! 🤞❤️

To wrap up STEAM for this term, our 3/4 class completed a challenge- The Paper Plane Challenge! ✈️

They were tasked with researching, designing and creating their own paper plane with only 1 sheet of paper, scissors, glue and coloured pencils/textas to decorate. 🌬🌬

After testing and making any necessary changes to their planes, it was time to fly! 🛬

Our winner, with his plane flying a whopping 9 metres, was Zayn! Well done to everyone! 👏👏

Our last Basketball session for the term. All students have enjoyed learning basketball skills 🏀🏀 with Sullivan. Thank you to a Sporting Schools Grant from the Australian Government to make this possible. 👏👏😃😃

Kindergarten were lucky enough to have our last Cultural Learning session for the term with Olivia! 😃😃

We read the Dreamtime story, The Rainbow Serpent, then created our very own bright and colourful serpents. 🐍🐍

We finished our lesson with a traditional Aboriginal game, Kai. This game is traditionally played with dried fruit but today we used a balloon. 🎈🎈

For all the Bluey lovers out there, it was similar to ‘Keepy Uppy’. We had lots of fun and can’t wait to see Olivia again next term. 💙💙

✨ What an absolutely incredible night at our 2026 Creative Arts Showcase! ✨

From breathtaking musical acts to spectacular performances, our students truly shone on stage. We are so incredibly lucky to witness the next generation of performers developing right before our eyes—the talent, passion, and confidence on display was nothing short of inspiring! 🎭🎶🎨

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to all of our brilliant student performers. You completely blew us away, and we could not be prouder of your hard work and artistry.😃😃

🐸 Big news from the school garden! 🎉
We are absolutely thrilled to officially welcome some new, hopping residents to our school frog pond! 👏👏
While our new webbed-foot friends are a little camera-shy (no selfies just yet!), our student nature detectives have already spotted 3 frogs settling into their new home. 🕵️‍♂️✨We can't wait to hear their evening choruses and watch our little ecosystem thrive.

🤪🤪 CRAZY HAIR AND SOCK DAY! 🤪🤪

Raising funds to support our 5/6 camp, students came with the craziest hair and socks today!! 😜😜

A big thank you to our families and staff who bought in sweet treats to sell. 🥰🥰

Our 5/6 class were in shop keeper mode helping students spend their gold coins! 💰💰
