Rosellas is a non profit community based preschool highly
regarded in the Murwillumbah area for over 30 years. Our dedicated staff are all qualified and highly experienced. We provide child-centred, educational care for 3-5 year olds in a secure, stimulating, challenging and developmentally appropriate un-pressured play environment based on The Early Years Learning Framework. We aim to develop: a
ppropriate social skills, self-confidence, a positive self-esteem, independence, communication skills, and learning skills; through the un-structured medium of children's "play". We also aim to teach the children sustainable practices to use throughout their life i.e recycling and vegetable gardening. We use food scraps for composting and to feed our chickens who are housed in our chicken coup and provide us with free range eggs. Rooms are bright and well equipped and we have a large shaded outdoor area which provides challenging activities. They are treated equally, regardless of their: culture, ethnicity, socio economic background, values, beliefs or religion.
