We are an independent primary school located north of Brisbane, a Lutheran primary school for students (co-educational) from Prep to Year 6. Sharing a site with Living Faith Lutheran Church and the Living Faith Kindergarten, we are the optimal size for students to have access to a wide range of excellent facilities and quality teachers. The school shares the site with Living Faith Lutheran Church

and a close working relationship exists between the church and the school. Living Faith is one of over 80 Lutheran schools across Australia. Together we share a focus on providing quality education in a secure relationship-centred environment. Values are at the heart of any community and Living Faith intentionally embeds the following values in the everyday life of the school - respect, responsibility, teamwork, compassion, doing your best and forgiveness. Living Faith enjoys a close working relationship and partnership with Grace Lutheran College (Rothwell and Caboolture Campus). Students who proceed to Grace College experience a smooth transition from the primary school setting to Grace’s Middle School (Years 7-9) and Senior School (Years 10-12).

🥁 Ready to make some noise?

As part of our new Performing Arts Academy, secondary students will have the opportunity to be part of the inaugural Living Faith Drumline! We are proudly partnering with Majenta Music to provide students with an exciting opportunity to extend their musicianship, develop rhythm and coordination, and perform as part of a dynamic team.

At our upcoming Secondary Expo, students can get hands-on with percussion, have a go on the drums and discover what this energetic new ensemble experience is all about.

Music, movement, rhythm and performance come together to create something unique for our new secondary community!

Year 6 in Canberra! 🏛️✨

After a very early start on Monday morning, our Year 6 students have hit the ground running and are making the most of every minute of their Canberra adventure!

From exploring Australian Parliament House and learning more about our nation's democracy to visiting the Australian Institute of Sport and experiencing plenty more along the way, our students have been immersed in learning beyond the classroom.

It's been a busy first couple of days, filled with fascinating experiences, new discoveries, plenty of walking and, we're sure, lots of laughter with friends. And there's more to come!

📚✨ What a wonderful way to celebrate Book Week! ✨📚

This morning, our Kindy to Year 3 students brought their favourite stories and characters to life at our Book Week Parade!

From Cinderella to Michael Jackson, W***y Wonka, The Baby-Sitters Club and everything in between, we were treated to an incredible mix of creative costumes and characters. It was wonderful to see our students embracing the joy of books, imagination and storytelling - and there were certainly some very impressive transformations along the way! 👑🎩🎶

A huge thank you to our wonderful Library Technician, Mrs Linda Lehmann, for all the time, creativity and coordination that has gone into making Book Week such a fantastic celebration of reading. 📖

✨ Let your light shine! ✨

Our wonderful Year 1 students led both our Junior and Senior Worship services this week, sharing an important message about letting our light shine and using it to help others.

With confidence, enthusiasm and plenty of bright smiles, our Year 1s did a fantastic job sharing their message with our school community. We are so proud of the way they stepped up and shared their faith with such courage.

A huge thank you to our Year 1 students and teachers for preparing such a meaningful Worship. We wish our students all the very best as they share their presentation with our church congregation this Sunday - we know they will shine just as brightly! 🌟

Want to get a first look at our new uniform… 👀

In our most recent newsletter's Principal’s Pen, we announced details of our new Living Faith uniform, including the staggered rollout as we transition to our new Secondary and College identity in 2027.

We can’t give too much away just yet… but families attending our Secondary Expo will get a first peek at the new uniform!

Our new uniform provider will also be there on the night, giving families the opportunity to see the uniform up close and find out more.

📚 Book Week is in full swing at Living Faith! Earlier this week, our students had the wonderful opportunity to meet visiting authors Nikki Rogers and Rebecca (R.J.) Timmis, hearing about their journeys as authors and illustrators and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how stories and picture books come to life.

From drawing and illustration activities with Nikki to exploring story ideas, characters and the publishing process with Rebecca, our students were inspired to get creative and discover the magic of storytelling.

There are also fun Book Week activities happening at the Library each break throughout the week, giving students even more opportunities to celebrate their love of books and reading.

A huge thank you to our Library Technician, Mrs Lehmann, for all her hard work in coordinating such a fun and engaging Book Week for our students! 📚

🦖 Walking with dinosaurs! 🌏

Last week, our Year 3 students stepped back in time at the Dinos Alive Immersive Experience, exploring the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Eras and discovering how our ever-changing planet influenced the evolution of dinosaurs.

The immersive experience brought their learning to life as students explored how the land shifted from one enormous supercontinent into the continents we recognise today - and considered how these changes affected the dinosaurs that lived across the planet.

It was a fantastic opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom, sparking curiosity and helping students connect their classroom learning with the incredible history of our planet.

Living Faith Community Picnic | Friday, 11 September 2026

Pack your picnic rug, camp chairs and some snacks and join us on the oval for a relaxed evening of fun, connection and community!

From inflatable play and giant lawn games to Match Point Tennis activities, there’ll be plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Plus, enjoy face painting by ArtCEE, a photo booth, music and a few surprises still to come! 🎨📸🎶

🍔 Food options will be available, including hamburgers, soft drinks and water, with grazing platters available to preorder through Parent Lounge.
