CELEBRATING OUR NAPLAN RESULTS AS A COMMUNITY
There’s a real sense of pride across our Murringo community as we celebrate the achievements of our Year 3 and Year 5 students in this year’s NAPLAN assessments. Their Literacy and Numeracy results show some truly wonderful successes, with many students achieving in the Strong and Exceeding proficiency levels.
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
What they don’t show is the individual growth behind every result — the challenges our students have worked through, the persistence they’ve shown, and the progress each child has made from their own starting point. Every percentage represents a learner who has worked hard, taken on feedback, kept trying, and continued to grow.
A huge part of this success comes from the dedication of our staff. Our teachers and support team show up every day with commitment, care, and a belief in every child. Through Explicit Teaching and learning that is tailored to each student’s needs, they create classrooms where every learner is supported, stretched, and celebrated.
