What a wonderful week it’s been to be part of Murray Bridge South PS 🩷 We acknowledged our fabulous SSO and ACEO teams during a morning tea to celebrate SSO/ACEO week 👏, filled lunch breaks with exciting Science Week activities 🧫 and classrooms were sending the Bullying No Way message 🛑 If you thought it was time to take a break, you thought wrong! Book Week begins Monday 📚 and what better way to kick it off than with a Book Week parade🥳

A big thank you to Peri from Murray Bridge News for visiting our 5/6 students!
Peri spoke with students about his role as a journalist, what makes a good newspaper article and the process of gathering information and telling a story.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect their learning to the real world as they continue learning about information report writing and newspaper articles.

We’ve had a busy and exciting start to the term, with much more ahead. What’s coming up next you ask? 🙋‍♀️
This week we have SAPOL road crossing training 👮🛑 for our yr. 4/5/6 students and leaders, as well as Dental Patrol 🪥🦷visits for students who have opted in.
Week 5 (beginning 17/08) is Science Week 🥼🧪🔬and Bullying No Way week 🙅‍♀️, with Book Week 📚 in week 6 (24/08). We will have our Book Week parade 🤩 on Monday 24/08.
Save the date on September 9 as we will have our school disco 🪩🕺🥳 as students head into the student free day on September 10, and the school closure day being September 11.
Keep an eye out for further updates.
