👮 SAPOL Incursion 🚓
Members from the South Australian Police force visited Fraser Park Primary for a special session on Keeping Safe on the Road with Jeff the road safety dog.

Students learnt about safe places to play, how to cross the road safely, passenger safety in cars, and road safety when riding a bike. The Police provided activity books and bookmarks for all students to enjoy!

What did I learn from the SAPOL visit?

“ Laws because there is a speed limit for e-bikes and e scooters and they taught us about road safety" - C

“ Talking about safety and learning about bikes, to make sure your bike is steady and doesn't break" - L

"Jeff the dog taught us not to cross the road without an adult" - A

"Jeff taught us to enter the side that has the footpath" - T

"Police use lots of different types of transport, not just cars” - D

⚫️🟡🔴 NAIDOC WEEK 2026
Whole School Collaborative Art Project
The 2026 NAIDOC Week theme, "50 Years of Deadly", marks a significant milestone, celebrating five decades of honouring the strength, resilience, history, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and recognising the community leaders who have shaped and guided the movement.
⚫️🟡🔴
Every class has contributed to our whole-school collaborative art piece by adding their unique handprints. Handprints are powerful symbols of community, care, respect, and individual commitment to First Nations reconciliation and rights.
⚫️🟡🔴
Muldhari - created handprints in the colours of the Aboriginal flag.
Kungari - designed blue handprints featuring black swans, reflecting the word 'Kungari, which means black swan in Ngarrindjeri language.
Wuldi - took inspiration from artist Bronwyn Bancroft, using vibrant colours and patterns that reflect the Australian landscape.
Wanyi - decorated handprints with representations of Australian animals.
Pinyali- used the colours of the Aboriginal flag and illustrated their handprints to echo this year's NAIDOC theme: "50 years deadly".

💫 Happy Principal’s Day 💫

Today we celebrate all the hard work that our principal does for us.

Thank you Mrs. Rathjen for being passionate about your role, for advocating so hard for our school to have better buildings and facilities, and for your unwavering dedication to your students and staff, it does not go unappreciated!

Above all, Mrs. Rathjen models what it means to be a true leader in and out of school.

Fraser Park Primary truely are lucky to have you!

💚Fraser Park is growing! 💛
This term we welcomed in a new reception class Muldhari (Magpie)

Students have been busy learning the letters A and S. You can see their snake, ants and apples. They have strengthened their pencil grip muscles while finding different ways to partition ten into two groups.
