🌸Miss Chrystal – Nursery Lead🌸

We are excited to announce that Miss Chrystal will be stepping into the Lead Educator position in our Baby Room!

Chrystal has shown amazing initiative, dedication and a genuine passion for caring for our youngest children. We are so pleased to see her taking this next step in her career.

Chrystal will also be starting her Diploma soon, continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

We are incredibly proud of Chrystal and look forward to seeing her thrive in her new role. Please join us in congratulating her and supporting her as she takes on this exciting new opportunity! 🌷

🧚‍♀️🌿 Our Fairy Tree Adventure 🌿🧚‍♀️

After lunch today, our children went for a walk to visit our local fairy tree! ✨

One of our children brought along some little figurines to share with their friends and add to the fairy tree. The children loved finding special places for them and exploring all the other little treasures that had been left behind, including fairies, Smurfs, horses and little houses. 🏡🧚‍♀️

On our walk, we also collected sticks, rocks, flowers and leaves to bring back to Kin Kin. The children enjoyed exploring the different colours, shapes and textures they found in nature. 🍃🌼

Next, we’ll be using our natural treasures to make some magical fairy potions! ✨🪄

We love being able to get out into our local community and extend our learning beyond Kin Kin. 💚

Miss Tayla went for a little walk around Kin Kin and came back with a beautiful collection of flowers from our natural surroundings. 🌼🍃

The children turned them into their very own flower soup, mixing, pouring, stirring and creating their own little recipes.

Such a simple experience, but so much imagination, conversation and fun! We love watching the children take something from nature and turn it into their own wonderful play. 🥰🌿

☕ Tea Party & Café Play! ☕

Miss Jess set up a sensory experience using rice, tea bags, chia seeds and mud, along with cups, bowls, spoons and a kettle.

It didn’t take long for the children to turn it into their very own little café! 🥰 They enjoyed mixing, scooping, pouring and making their own pretend drinks to serve to their friends.

We loved watching their imaginations take over as they created their own little tea party together. 🤎

🍋 When life gives you lemons… make lemonade! 🍋

Our children had lots of fun making their own fresh lemonade! They squeezed the lemons, added some water and of course had to give it a taste. There were plenty of funny faces when they discovered just how sour it was! 😂🍋

The children described their lemonade as “spicy”, “juicy”, “yummy” and “yucky!”

Such a simple but fun experience for the children to explore together! 💛

🌻 Growing Sunflowers in Kindy! 🌻

Our Kindy children have been learning all about sunflowers and how they grow!

The children planted their own sunflower seeds and talked about what they need to grow, including water, sunshine and lots of care. ☀️

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be watching our sunflowers grow and seeing what changes happen along the way. We can’t wait to see how tall they get! 🌻
