Congratulations to Emily Murray and Tyler Long who participated in the Lions Club Regional Public Speaking Competition. They both acquitted themselves very well in what was a very high standard competition. Congratulations to Emily and Tyler for representing the school.

Mrs Jeanette Coulter raised sweet potatoes seedlings, planted and tended them in our school garden, harvested them 2 weeks ago and now Children have peeled and chopped and oven baked them with olive oil and salt.
Thanks to Mrs Coulter and all families and children who keep this beautiful little garden ticking along.
At present in the garden we have flowers, raspberry canes and lettuce!

Congratulations to Tyler Long (Gr 3-4) and Emily Murray (Gr 5-6) who won the Lions Club Public Speaking Competition. Runners up were Beau Murray and Riley Danson. Karliegh Thomas and Brandon Thomas also did excellent speeches. Well done to all these students. Thanks to the Lions Club, Lyn Madden, Stephen Monk, Pattie McDonald and Carmel Flynn for their support and delicious morning tea, and Jenny McDonald and Jan McLure for their efforts as judges.
