It was wonderful to spend an evening this week celebrating the achievements of our students. For those who have just graduated, we wish you all the best on your next chapter!

🎓✨ Semester 2 Graduation 2025 – What a night! ✨🎉  This week we celebrated the incredible achievements of our international students from TAFE campuses across Western Australia — all coming together at the iconic Optus Stadium to mark this unforgettable milestone.  The evening was filled with pride, joy and plenty of cheers as we recognised the hard work and dedication of our Semester 2, 2025 graduates. You’ve all shown remarkable resilience on your journey, and now it’s time to enjoy a well earned break! ☀️🎉  A heartfelt thank you to Aaliyah Nestoridis for a beautiful Welcome to Country, and to our inspiring student speakers Naru Arai and Zachary Heramis, who shared their stories and reflections as they stepped into the next chapter of their lives.  Watching each student walk the stage to receive their certificate was a true celebration of commitment and perseverance. Visa scams can involve fake phone calls or emails from scammers impersonating officials from the Department of Home Affairs.

Legitimate correspondence from the Department of Home Affairs will always be from an official .gov.au email address.

If you’re unsure about any communications you’ve received, check it’s real by going to ImmiAccount – the official Australian Government immigration portal for your application.

If you receive suspicious contact about your visa application you should immediately hang up or delete the suspicious email or text message and contact the Department of Home Affairs.

Our great friends at TAFE International Western Australia have some tips for working over the semester break!

We had a lovely visit to Caversham Wildlife Park and Whiteman Park on Saturday. The students had a FANTASTIC time seeing Australian wildlife and having a picnic in the park.
