2026 Parent survey – Have your say

The annual Parent Survey is now underway and will close at midnight on Sunday 6 September.

The survey provides parents and carers with an opportunity to share their views and help improve education at our school.
It focuses on:
• What we’re doing well
• Where we can improve
• What is important to you as a parent or carer

Your responses are confidential. Neither you nor your child can be identified, and only collated feedback is provided to our school.

You should have already received a link to the survey via email or SMS. Reminder messages are also being sent unless you have already completed the survey or chosen to unsubscribe.

We strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your feedback is valuable and helps guide our school improvement efforts.

📱 WAIT MATE – FREE PARENT SESSION

Something is shifting in the way families think about kids and smartphones — and we want our community to be part of the conversation.

Join us for a FREE Wait Mate Parent Session:
📅 Monday 14 September
⏰ From 3:30pm

The session is built around one simple idea: waiting as long as possible before giving children their own smartphone — and doing it alongside other families, so no one has to be the only one saying “not yet”.

💬 No judgement.
🚫 No scare tactics.
💡 Just honest information, practical advice and support.
Already given your child a smartphone? This session is for you too! Families will receive helpful information and strategies to support children who already have their own device.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Relevant for all families from Reception–Year 6

👧 CHILD MINDING AVAILABLE

To make it easier for parents and carers to attend child-free, child minding will be available for students who currently attend Mark Oliphant College while their parent or carer participates in the session.
