Photos of students can only be published if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been completed by the studentโ€™s parent or guardian. The photo must be removed after one year of publishing unless further permission from the parent is sought. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and
please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously
mentioned permissions is sought. On rare occasions and with parental permission, students may be named by the school Facebook administration team. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed. Comments

๐ŸŒŸ During Week 5, our students in Macintyre dived headfirst into thrilling literacy and science adventures designed to spark their curiosity and creativity! ๐Ÿ”โœจ Through hands-on projects like crafting papier-mรขchรฉ volcanoes ๐ŸŒ‹, uncovering the magic of hidden writing โœจ๐Ÿ“, and building greenhouses with chia seeds ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿก, our learners explored fascinating scientific concepts while boosting their reading and communication skills. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’ฌ These activities created fantastic opportunities for students to connect literacy and science in fun and meaningful ways! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ”ฌ

On Fridays, Macintyre students got hands-on with engaging Maths activities to reinforce lessons. ๐Ÿงฎโœ‚๏ธ They designed their own analogue clocks โฐ and constructed 3D shapes from nets ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“, sharpening their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ก Itโ€™s truly inspiring to see our learners unleash their imagination and practical skills every week! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ–๏ธ

This Science Week, Barwon students put their scientific thinking into action by creating Balloon Rockets! Students explored forces and motion as they investigated how air can propel a balloon along a string.
