Photos of students can only be published if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been completed by the student’s parent or guardian. The photo must be removed after one year of publishing unless further permission from the parent is sought. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and
please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously
mentioned permissions is sought. On rare occasions and with parental permission, students may be named by the school Facebook administration team. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed. Comments

🌟 During Week 5, our students in Macintyre dived headfirst into thrilling literacy and science adventures designed to spark their curiosity and creativity! 🔍✨ Through hands-on projects like crafting papier-mâché volcanoes 🌋, uncovering the magic of hidden writing ✨📝, and building greenhouses with chia seeds 🌱🏡, our learners explored fascinating scientific concepts while boosting their reading and communication skills. 📚💬 These activities created fantastic opportunities for students to connect literacy and science in fun and meaningful ways! 🎉🔬

On Fridays, Macintyre students got hands-on with engaging Maths activities to reinforce lessons. 🧮✂️ They designed their own analogue clocks ⏰ and constructed 3D shapes from nets 📐📏, sharpening their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 🧠💡 It’s truly inspiring to see our learners unleash their imagination and practical skills every week! 🚀🖐️

This Science Week, Barwon students put their scientific thinking into action by creating Balloon Rockets! Students explored forces and motion as they investigated how air can propel a balloon along a string. There was plenty of excitement, teamwork and problem-solving as students tested their rockets and watched them zoom across the room! 🔬🧪
