Our School began providing quality education service to our community in 1875.We are proud of its heritage and tradition. Our Association's aim is to assist in the improvement of the school through the provision of equipment and material not supplied through Government sources and to support and advise on decisions to be made in the operation of the school. The Association works closely with the t

eachers at our school to foster parent-teacher co-operation and interest in educational matters. The P & C discusses matters that influence certain aspects of your child's education. Our school boasts fine facilities through which many excellent students have spent the majority, if not all their primary education. Our students also boast highly ranked in the sporting arena and well sort after in higher education endeavors due to the Quality of there education, support & dedication given by our Teachers and supporting staff. To all our family's new & old in the Mungar Community we welcome you and invite you to join our proud Association, become involve and an Active member of the mungar school community, With your help lets promote our wonderful school, watch it grow & flourish like the proud country town we are. your valid input would be greatly accepted! If you are wondering why nothing is being posted on here anymore, it is because the P&C committee decided it’s much easier to have one page for all our news and updates. So if you haven’t done so already please head to and like the Mungar State School page,where all updates will now be posted.

Tomorrow is the P & C AGM meeting at the school. There is no pressure to be a part of the committee, we would love for members of our school community to simply be a P & C member and be a part of the decisions that affect our school and our students!

We extend a warm welcome to the community to attend our upcoming 2022 P&C AGM Meeting. Executive positions will be open for nominations. There is no pressure to commit to a
position when attending, general committee membership is an option and is also valuable to the association.
It really is a great way to keep up to date with school plans and curriculum to receive key messages and to contribute towards decision making for the school and our students. We look forward to seeing you all there.

🎄🎄 Todays the day!! Hooray! 🎄🎄
The P & C will be catering tonight's event with yummy steak burgers, sausage sizzles, drinks, and a bake stall (gluten free and savoury options available!) A coffee van will also be on site. Please remember some cash as the P & C does not have eftpos facilities.

We have some great prizes up for grabs in the tombola - tickets will be available for $1.

The P & C would like to hold a baked goods stall at the Christmas Concert on the 3rd December - so we are seeking donations of packet baking mixes...sweet or savoury! Can you help? Donations gratefully accepted at the school office!

🎅🎅 Christmas Concert Pre Orders 🎅🎅
A pre-order form for the Christmas Concert was sent home with last weeks newsletter. The P & C would appreciate your assistance in returning this form to the school ASAP to assist with catering purposes on the night. No prepayment required - cash is accepted on the night. Thank You! We look forward to seeing everyone on the 3rd December! 🎄🎁

Did You Know??
In consultation with the P & C, Mungar State School will operate a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) for 2022. The SRS provides parents/carers with a cost effective alternative to purchasing resources and/or textbooks elsewhere, and ensures that students have the resources required for them to engage with the curriculum. Because of the generous support shown to the P & C by our school community, the P & C are able to sponsor $20 towards each student who participates in the Student Resource Scheme!
