Stars on Stage – Celebrating Our Students

When 5 of our students took to the stage at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre for the Public Primary Schools Festival of Music Stars on Stage, they shone with confidence and pride.
The Primary Schools Festival of Music is an iconic South Australian tradition that has inspired generations. It gives students the chance to experience artistic excellence, embrace cultural diversity, and celebrate social inclusion through the joy of performance.
Each concert featured 1,300 Year 5 and 6 students joining voices in a breathtaking massed choir.
This year’s concert opened with Robbie Williams’ electrifying Let Me Entertain You and closed on a powerful high with John Farnham’s iconic You’re the Voice, complete with stirring bagpipes that lifted the arena.
Stars on Stage was truly a spectacular celebration of what public school students can achieve when they come together through music and the arts. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, passion, and brilliance on stage.

We look forward to next term when 17 students will take part in the South East Music Festival at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre.

Our students are able to take part in range of activities. Jed was a winner through Auskick to attend the Brownlow Medal red carpet. Jed and Kane were there on Monday night as the players and partners went past. Some even stopped to say hello!

A huge well done to all of our students who took part in our school LEGO competition – the creativity and effort was outstanding!

Well done to our three athletes who competed at Sapsasa Athletics today in Adelaide, special mention to Hamish for winning a silver medal in the discus!

🌟Our Year 2/3/4 class have been shining bright this term! 🌟

We’ve been learning all about light — exploring different light sources and investigating opaque, translucent, and transparent objects. The students also discovered how shadows are made by the sun and then got creative by designing and performing their very own shadow puppet shows. Each group is now editing their movies and are looking forward to sharing these with our junior primary class. 🎥💡🔦

Our choir students have been busy the last 2 weeks. Adelaide choir students rehearsed in Bordertown with Cathy from the Public Primary Schools' Music Festival. There were 40 students there - imagine the sound with 30 times that many as there will be at least 1200 students on stage at the Entertainment Centre next week.
Students performing in Mt Gambier in October went to Naracoorte to have their combined rehearsal with the conductor - Shylie. I didn't get any photos there- around a 100 students were at that rehearsal.
