Welcome to Sacred Heart Mundaring, a single stream catholic school set in the Perth Hills. Our school commenced in 1952 and has a rich tradition linked to the two Orders of Sisters who were involved within our school; the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition and the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart School creates a tripartite relationship with the families, school staff and

our Parish working together to form a strong community for the benefit of all our children. We are steeped in Catholic traditions with Jesus as the master teacher. Everything that we implement reflects our core values of: Compassion, Courage, Forgiveness, Humility, Respect for Human Dignity and Service to Others. Education of the whole child is paramount and we offer a diverse range of opportunities for them to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills. We aim to help children grow through focussing on the religious, academic and social and emotional domains, thereby assisting them to grow into happy and well-adjusted adults of the future.

Today, we were joined by Fr Stephen, Taylor Beynon (Meraki Boho) and the Honourable Member for Western Australia, Klasey Hirst, to bless and commission our Water Tank Murals at an outdoor whole-school assembly. The project was made possible through a Department of Creative Industries grant, the talent and creativity of Meraki Boho, the vision and passion of Mrs Alcock, the knowledge and wisdom of Fr Stephen, and the many small hands of Sacred Heart School students. ❤❤❤
