Our National Science Week event went off with a 💥bang💥(literally)!

🧬🧪🩺🔬🔍🏞️

With glorious sunshine 🌞 and great community numbers through, our campus was buzzing all day.

The crowd favourite of the day? Our Fire and Ice Spectacular 🔥❄️ show — bubbles 🫧 , flames 🔥 and nitrogen fog ☁️ had everyone (kids and adults alike) mesmerised.

From sitting in UOW Motorsport’s Formula-style EV 🏎️ , to launching rockets🚀 , meeting reptiles 🐍 🦎, battling it out in LEGO Robotics 🤖 , peering through the observatory telescope 🔭 , recycling adventures ♻️, virtual reality 🥽 and optical illusions 👓, listening to Country ⚫️🟡🔴, and even watching muscles 💪 move via ultrasound 🩻 — there really was something for everyone.

Huge thanks to our amazing partners, volunteers and staff who brought science to life for the Shoalhaven community today. 💙
