In Kenya, many children are born into crippling poverty, preventing them from reaching thei

r full potential in life. Their communities and families are all the poorer for this. Our mission is to provide disadvantaged Kenyan children & young adults with opportunities to gain a quality education. An education that will enrich their lives and develop skills which enable them to break free from the cycle of poverty. The children and young adults in our programs meet set criteria and whenever possible, remain in the care of family members. When this is not possible, we arrange for our children to live and learn in a safe and caring environment. Many of the schools we visit in rural Kenya have few facilities and could benefit from some outside help. So, when we can, we help them. When travelling from Australia to Kenya, we fill our luggage with educational toys, books and resources which will be useful to the teachers and benefit students. We are passionate about this work, and although it can be very demanding at times, it is rewarding.
