A fun and colourful pasta salad to try.

A great point on who get's to decide at what time.

The feeding roles get a little trickier when there’s 3 people involved! We’re here to make it easier for you...

🍏 Parent or carer decides – what food to offer.
🍏 Childcare or school decides – when and where children eat.
🍏 Child decides – if and how much to eat – this includes the order they eat their food!

Some children will prefer to eat their ‘main item’ in the morning, and others in the afternoon.
The order doesn't matter, it's still the same food provided!

Great advice from the picnic project!

They can't learn to like it if it's not on the table!

Even if it was refused, keep offering it without pressure. Children's tastes change over time...

Some tips:
🍈 keep serves of new foods small
🌽 offer with foods they like
🥕 be patient.

Their diet variety will likely creep up on you... play the long game!

This week, some of our schoolies group for 2024 were invited to join in the Easter Hat Parade at Mullaway Public School.

We spent time getting creative in the art studio designing our own Easter hats and proudly wore them along to school.

Thank you to the team at Mullaway Public School and Mr Wiggins, the Easter Hat Parade MC, the Stage 3 teachers and students for hosting the parade. You made us all feel so welcome in your environment and we are so proud of the children for joining in and sharing on the microphone “when I grow up, I want to be a… scientist / firefighter / gymnastics instructor / robot maker / doctor”. How inspirational!
