💜 This week, we have been participating in the National ‘Bullying No Way’ week. A week to bring awareness to bullying and the role we can play in creating a kinder and more respectful community.
Today, K-12 students wore a splash of purple and participated in activities to promote kindness and care within our community. We want NCS to be a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
Well done to our Timothy Leadership students for organising the week and sharing the message in our classrooms and PC groups.

⭐️ Primary Zone Athletics // Last Tuesday, forty nine primary students represented our school at the CSSA Zone Athletics Carnival.

The weather was spectacular and students gave their all, with many achieving PBs and progressing through to represent our zone at the upcoming State carnival.

👏 Special congratulations to Grace C (Year 2) who was awarded Age Champion.

Thank you to all the parents who came along, encouraged and supported our students, and to Mr Sheerman for leading the team.

🇦🇺 National Selection // Congratulations to Ava E (Yr 12) on being selected in the Australian Wheelchair Handball squad. She will travel to Spain in September, to represent Australia at the World Championships.

📣 This is the Nepean way 🤩 Well done to our Junior and Senior netball teams, that competed at the State Primary Netball Gala Day. It was a day filled with positivity, sportsmanship and team spirit.

🏀 Nepean Zone Basketball Gala Day // Today, our U15 boys and girls basketball teams competed in the Nepean Zone Gala Day. Congratulations to our girls team who were undefeated all day. They won the final and will now progress to the CSSA State Gala Day later this term. Our boys team also competed very well, with two wins and a draw. Unfortunately they narrowly missed out on winning the semi final.
Well done to all of our students, we’re very proud of you!

👵🏼👴🏻🎉 Hooray // Today, our Kindy classes celebrated 100 days of school. We thank God for these precious little people, and the privilege it is to watch them learn and grow. We look forward to many more days to come.
We also say a big “HOORAY” to their amazing teachers, who have the joy of spending every day with Kindy.

🇻🇺❤️ Final Days 7-11 // Year 12’s final days in Port Vila were full of special moments in the CCC classrooms, saying goodbyes and exploring more of the natural beauty, culture and history of Vanuatu.
A bigfala tank yu tumas to our sister school Child Care Centre, Vanuatu. Their hospitality, kindness and warmth once again blessed our students and staff beyond measure. We thank God for this beautiful relationship, grounded in Him and for His glory.
As the team travel back to Sydney this evening, we continue to pray for safety, and look forward to hearing all about their time.
