Kids Tribe LIVE is back for 2025!
Parenting is not a solo sport — it’s a team effort, and Kids Tribe was born from that very idea. A community of support. A place of connection. A shared journey in raising happy, healthy, resilient kids. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome back Australia’s leading parenting expert, Dr Justin Coulson, for another powerful and practical session.
Justin is the co-host and parenting expert on Channel 9’s ‘Parental Guidance, the founder of happyfamilies.com.au and one of Australia’s most trusted parenting experts. He holds a PhD in Positive Psychology. He also happens to be the author of 9 books about raising children, and he is the parent of 6 daughters.
This is a not to be missed event.

Transition to Senior School Information Night – Tuesday 29 July
Year 10 students and families are invited to learn about our Senior School programs at an information session on Tuesday 29 July from 5:30-6:30pm.
At this session, we will explore the programs offered in the senior phase of learning and how these are used to support our students’ development towards their individualised learning goals and attainment of a QCIA (Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement). We will also discuss upcoming PATH (Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope) meetings that will help set the quality world vision and direction for your young person in their final years of schooling and beyond.

THANK YOU MUDGEERABA SPECIAL SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Thanks to your support, Mudgeeraba Special has finished second and won $5000 in the “Shop for your School” competition at Robina Town Centre. This is an amazing achievement, highlighting the strength and character of our school community. Thank you so much to all who participated and thank you to Robina Town Centre.

On Monday our Year 12 graduating students received their senior shirts at a special ceremony attended by their family, peers and staff. They all looked fantastic in their new shirts and we thank our P&C for this generous donation.

Partnership Breakfast
We had a lovely time connecting with our business partners at breakfast this morning. Thank you to our guest speaker Amanda Hartmann, Speech-Language Pathologist, who talked about AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to enhance inclusion and learning for all students. Thank you to all our staff for supporting our students to showcase their skills and make it a wonderful event.

Senior School Markets
The Senior School markets will be on again next Wednesday (25 June) at the Robina Town Centre. The students selling the products they have made in their Certificate I courses.

Breakfast club
Thanks to a generous donation from 10 Cent Tom, students from each block across the school have been given the opportunity to participate in a free breakfast club lead by our Chaplain David. This program is not to replace breakfast, but rather to give students the opportunity to have a snack and create a social opportunity to communicate with peers and staff.

Some of our Senior students went to the Queensland Special Education Touch Football championships today. They had an awesome time participating with their peers from across the region, developing teamwork and social skills. Well done everyone for representing our school with such pride and distinction. Thank you to our teaching staff for supporting our students to participate in this event.
