Confidence grows when children feel seen, heard and supported 🌱
At Gowrie NSW, we create environments where children are encouraged to explore new ideas, express themselves and take on challenges at their own pace. Through meaningful relationships and play-based learning, children build the confidence to try, learn and thrive every day. 💛

The most meaningful learning often looks like play ✨
Whether children are creating, building, exploring outdoors or engaging in imaginative play, they are developing important life skills that support their growth and wellbeing.

Play is more than fun - it’s how children learn, grow and make sense of the world 🌱
Through play-based learning, children build confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills and meaningful relationships in ways that feel natural and engaging to them.

Gowrie NSW Mudgee was proud to be part of this year’s annual Try A Trade Expo, supporting local high school students to explore future pathways and discover the many opportunities available beyond traditional trades.
Students from Years 9–12 across Dubbo, Dunedoo, Gulgong, Kandos and Mudgee engaged with a wide range of industries, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experiences that connected learning with real-world possibilities.
With approximately 90 representatives from sectors including Mining, Engineering, Aviation, Early Childhood Education, Health, Defence, Emergency Services and Local Government, students were encouraged to think about their strengths, interests and future aspirations.
We were excited to showcase the rewarding and meaningful career pathways within Early Childhood Education and the important role educators play in shaping children’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. 🤍
Experiences like these support young people to build confidence, develop a sense of identity and become connected contributors to their community and future world of work.

What an honour it was to welcome Warrant Officer Mark Mitchell back to our service this week. After an incredible 40 years of service in the Australian Navy, Mark generously shared his stories, experiences, and insights with our children.
We are so grateful for these meaningful visits, which help bring history, service, and remembrance to life in such a powerful way. The children were fascinated to ask questions, listen carefully to his stories, and enjoy a special reading of ANZAC Ted.
Thank you, Mark, for your service and for spending time with us. It was a truly memorable experience for everyone.
