भाषालय एक गैर नाफामूलक संस्था हो | यस्को मुल उद्देस्य भनेको भाषा र संस्कृति को रक्षा गर्ने र नेपाली नेपाली बिच जो वर्तमान लनचेस्टन वरपर बस्दै आउनुभएको छ, उहाहरुको बीच एकता कायम गर्ने र एक पुस्ताबाट अर्को पुस्तामा कला, भाषा र सस्कृती हस्तान्तरण गर्ने उद्देश्य हो। भाषालयले वर्तमान समयमा १४ बर्ष मुनिका नेपाली भासी बाल बालिका को लागी नेपाली भाषा साक्षरता कक्षाहरु चलाइरहेको छ। यस बाहेक भाषालयले "सक्रिय र रचनात्मक बच्चाहरु" कार्यक्रम संचालन गरेको छ, जसको उद्देश्य कला, संगीत र खेलकुद को माध्यमबाट विभिन्न क्षेत्रहरुमा आफ्नो रचनात्मक ज्ञान बृद्धि गर्नको लागी प्रेरित गरीरहेको छ। भषलयले नेपाली समुदायका बच्चाहरु लाई बिभिन्न सहयोग प्रदान गरीरहेको छ | भाषालयले बालबालिका हरुको बाल विकास को प्रारम्भिक चरण मा आफ्नो शक्ति र कमजोरी पहिचान गर्न मद्दत गरेको छ ।
