CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (WHITE CARD TRAINING
This nationally recognised White Card training course gives trainees basic knowledge of: CONSTRUCTION WORK.
Work Health and Safety (WH&S) laws
common hazards encountered in construction work
how associated risks can be controlled
Under WHS legislation, workers on construction sites must undertake general induction training or ‘White Card training’ and have evidence of their attendance from the course before they are permitted to commence work on a construction site.

Requirements for Your White Card Course:
Must be able to speak English
Participants must be a minimum of 15 years of age
3 forms of evidence of identity documents
Closed in footwear
PPE ( HI VIS CLOTHING REQUIRED
Have Literacy skills to read and interpret statutory signage, warning signs and instructions.
Have the ability to complete a workplace Incident Report.
Have numeracy skills to perform simple calculations.
Have a level of oral communication that enables you to make accurate verbal answers to assessor.

Multiple choice open book
Individual Verbal questioning
Complete a simple incident report form
Correctly fit personal protective equipment
On completion the trainees will be able to competently:
Identify WHS legislative requirements
Identify construction hazards and control measures
Identify WHS communication and reporting processes
Identify WHS incident response procedure
On successful completion and being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment and a plastic industry wallet card issued by QTLT RTO 40931
