Ok. We have had a random entry.
He has zero content on Facebook. He was only bagging the site. So I blocked him.

This page was created some time back now.
So in Facebook wisdom it’s now a private page or my very own alias page.

Every day I have to block 10 plus surgested posts.

Anyone willing to join me in becoming an administrator and we can start a new page and delete this over time.

Sorry this is a slow page. But we had one new follow and I was looking about. And some of the behind the scenes data is interesting.

Sat 18th March

Syndal North school site is 50 next year and 20 since Mt Waverley North PS created - it is a celebration year for the school. Starting with the MWNPS school fair on Sat 18th March 2017 and other event/s later in the year. Hopefully this will be communicated on the school website and Facebook; both old school pages; secondary school; local newspaper; letterbox drop near school etc. I know the school is looking for any old photos or information. This could be forwarded to school via [email protected] or posted to Robyn James, Principal, MWNPS Marcus Ave. Mt Waverley.

I just went looking for some house name info.
Muir was Red house.
I didn't find any good info but I have it in the back of my mind that all the house names where named from the local land owners.

Colman owned a house on high st rd just west of Lawrence rd

Barry family lived towards Tally ho reserve .

Lechte well I would assume along Lechte rd.

Can anyone add some more info.

MUIR family
Cr Malcolm MUIR was the first President of the Shire of Mulgrave. His son William Senior married Ellen COTTER and had a son Bill who beame the last Shire President and the first Mayor of the City of Waverley. He had two daughters Jennifer Robyn and Susan Jill. Also mentioned are Mrs P Muir and her children Pamela and Malcolm, and a John Muir but it is not clear whether they are related to the councillors.
