Multicultural Day 2026 began with an energetic whole-school performance by Bhangra Beats, showcasing classical Indian, Bollywood music and dance. Throughout the day, students immersed themselves in a variety of cultural activities, including Greek dancing, lantern making, and experiencing a traditional Chinese dance performance, before wrapping up with the much-anticipated Grade 6 Dragon Boat race.
We extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful Greek families—Joanna, Nicolette, and Maria—for sharing their culture, as well as our Year 6 families—Amy, Eoin, Kaye, and Ruby—for their support in creating the dragon boats. A special thank you also goes to Romeo and Emily’s grandparents for their wonderful performance, and to our School Council Committee members, Kaye and Prue, who played a key role in running sessions, preparing resources, and organising the delicious lunch.
It was truly special to see so many parents and grandparents involved, helping make the day such a memorable celebration of culture and community.

Congratulations to the 44 students who showed great courage and initiative by putting themselves forward for the 2026 student leadership roles.
Year 5 students voted for the peers they believed would make strong leaders. Their speech and how they demonstrated our school expectations were to be considered. From this vote, the top 11 boys and 11 girls were then invited to present their speeches to the Year 3–6 cohort.
Congratulations to our shortlisted girls: Lara, Aanya, Jess, Pippa, Kimberley, Hayley, Kaasvi, Siena, Mira and Zara.
Congratulations to our shortlisted boys: Jax, Romeo, Viraj, Kamal, Vedh, Max, Elijah, George, Rickson, Charlie and Connor.
We have been so impressed with the quality and confidence of all of them. They are all definitely worthy of a captaincy position. Best of luck to you all!

Our students have been starting their transition classes for 2026. At the first internal transition session, students selected 5 friends that they would like in their 2026 class. They also heard about all the great things to look forward to. Our second transition session on Tuesday was an opportunity to complete something which will be used in next years’ class display. Teachers also discussed expectations and requirements of the year ahead.
