Year 7 & 8 Selective Entry High School (SEHS) & Scholarships Preparation Course**

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is your opportunity to help prepare your children for the prestigious SEHS exam and build skills to take it head-on and also help them prepare for number of scholarship tests and competitions. The course also aims to impart skills and confidence you can aim to gain here that will be useful for your entire academic journey. We are now accepting enrolments!

- Schedule: Sundays 3 - 6 pm
- ⁠Starting 03/08/2025
- ⁠Location: In person

- ⁠Fee: $100 per session, Invoiced term-wise

A uniquely structured preparation program for students in Years 7 and 8 who intend to sit the ACER Selective‑Entry High School examination for entry to Year 8/9 or other tests demanding similar level, skills and aptitude.

The program is delivered via complementary streams aligned to the current examination specifications.

Course Structure;
- Mathematical Reasoning, multi‑step problem‑solving, data interpretation, and error analysis
- ⁠Reading Reasoning, inference, author purpose, structural analysis, and evidence location
- ⁠Verbal General ability and Reasoning, Vocabulary rooted in word origins, analogies, and logical deduction
- ⁠Quantitative General Ability, pattern recognition, sequences, and number puzzles
- ⁠Writing, weekly persuasive and creative tasks, feedback

ICAS prep class will commence this week on Sunday, June 15th, and conclude on August 3rd, spanning eight weeks.

The class will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with a duration of 90 minutes.

The fee for the class is $50 a session. Limited places.
