On Saturday, our students took to the field against Mudgeeraba Special School at Cbus Super Stadium.

The team represented BSS with pride, displaying fantastic sportsmanship, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the game.

A special highlight was School Captain Josh having the opportunity to meet some of the Gold Coast Titans NRLW international players!
Congratulations to everyone involved - players and families, thank you to the NRL for the memorable experience and our own Super Coach Kev and our Inaugural Manager Ele.

Get your favourite jersey ready and bring your biggest, brightest smile!

Jersey Day is originally celebrated on Friday, 5 September, but due to the Student Free Day, we’ll be bringing the fun forward to Wednesday, 2nd of September!

Jersey Day is a special opportunity to raise awareness about organ donation and start conversations about the incredible impact organ donation can have on the lives of others.

There’s no donation necessary, all you need is your favourite jersey and your wonderful smile!

Let’s come together to spread awareness, celebrate community, and make it a fantastic day filled with happiness, school spirit and plenty of jersey pride!

We can’t wait to see all the amazing jerseys and happy faces around our school!

Get ready for a fun-filled Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏀🏅

Beenleigh Special School students will be heading to Mount Warren Park State School on Thursday 3 September for a morning of movement, teamwork and plenty of school spirit!

📅 Thursday 3 September 2026
⏰ 9:20am–12:30pm

There are two venues for the day (Thursday 3rd September-​
this Thursday!)

- Beenleigh Special School: Junior Primary, Lower Primary & Middle Primary. Due to limited space, we cannot have parents spectate this event.
- Mount Warren Park SS: Most Upper Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary. Parents can spectate this event

Students and staff from both venues can order a sausage sizzle​
lunch. Order on flexischools app (preferably by Tuesday). Sausage sizzle is served back at school after students return from MSPSS.

Don’t forget your sun protection, water and lots of energy. We can’t wait to cheer everyone on! 💚💛
