Dear Songbirds,
After 10 wonderful years of working with young local musicians this chapter is set to close. Today, I handed back the keys to the Songbird studio space at Mt Samson. I love my work and students however I have realized that it is now time to close this very sentimental chapter I called Songbird and look forward to continued professional growth in the education sector. I am very grateful to have had the privilege of working in music education within my local community for so many years.
Thank you to the wonderful team of teachers whom have worked with us over the years and particularly Kieran! Kieran has been here (almost) from the beginning, I would like to thank you for your skills, loyalty and friendship and most of all, for the love of music you fostered in your students. It is my heartfelt wish for all Songbirds, that they think of their times spent at the studio with joy and happiness and that they will always have a love of music and song that they will take with them through life.
Thanks for the wonderful memories! Please stay in touch and let us know how your little (or not so little) Songbird is taking flight!

Exciting news at Songbird. We'll be hosting drum circles on Monday nights from the 1st of August. No prior experience required, our drum teacher Kieran will teach you everything you need to know. RSVP via Facebook or email.

Songbirds will be closed for lessons Monday 28th February due to the recent weather event, local road closures and water in the studio. The studio clean up continues every few hours as Mount Samson and surrounding areas has received over 1100ml since 9am Friday 25th. Mount Samson SS will also be closed tomorrow. Winn Road is closing intermittently with each downpour. Stay safe everyone!

Due to the current lockdown in Moreton and Greater Brisbane area. All lessons with James (Tuesday) and Kieran (Monday) will be credited from your Term 2 account.
