Hmm, me thinks we almost need a bigger water bucket 🤪🤣

Lovely to see this big guy today after his initial session a fortnight ago. He was pulling like a freight train on walks, he also didn’t like to go out for walks without one of the children going too.

He already weighs 80kg 😳 so it was important to help teach him how to walk on lead nicely. He also can use his weight to make moving him, when he decides he doesn’t want to, hard to do, so needed to help teach him to understand the communication of the lead.

Once again, with a change in equipment, his owner now says he’s made a massive improvement. He now walks without any of the children needing to go with him, he isn’t stopping and wanting to return home and walking nicely for about 20-30 mins.

Good work by everyone !

Today we worked on more lead walking and started to tackle getting him in the car without having to be physically lifted in 😳.

Lots of things starting to come alive - love watching different plants and trees awaken after winter.

‘Tully’ - 5mth Irish wolfhound

What an absolute gorgeous big girl was Tully.

Had the pleasure of working with her and her owner last week. Tully was just getting a tad silly and with the size she will reach, it was a good idea by her owner to take a look at things before she finds herself being dragged down the street.

With a change of equipment Tully was walking nicely very quickly and overall she took to things so well. You could see she had a cheeky side and a very soft sweet side too 🥰.

I’ve been raw feeding my boys for 3.5yrs and one thing that was very noticeable once i did was the condition of their coats, a massive difference. I recently added MCT oil to their meals and oh my 🤗 Hudson’s coat looks and feels even more amazing !!

It’s almost like I’ve recently bathed and groomed him. Hamish’s coat is also looking way softer and feeling so too.

LEVEL 2 CLASS -

Excited to run another round of these classes !

When - Saturday 12 September
Time - 1.00pm
Duration - 6 weeks (each class 1hr)
Dates - Sept 12, 19 Oct 3, 10, 17 & 24
Cost - $250
Class size - max 6-8 dogs

This class is open to those owners who have worked with me via attending a Manners Class within the last 12mths.

The class is about taking owners handling skills further, walking dogs nicely around one another whilst also performing various obedience commands under distractions.

Being able to practise these things in a controlled environment is a great place to build on owner/dog overall relationship.
