A double dose of hockey success!🏑

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of sisters Abigail and Emilia! 💜

Abigail has been selected for the Under 12 School Sport WA Hockey Team and will represent Western Australia at the School Sport Australia Championships in Newcastle this October.

Adding to the excitement, both Abigail and Emilia have also been selected in the Under 14 WA State Outdoor Hockey Team, where they will represent WA at the National Championships in Canberra this October.

What an incredible achievement for both girls! We can’t wait to cheer them on as they take to the national stage and represent Western Australia. 🤩✨

We've been working on something for you! 🌟🤭

From 2027, Perth College students in Years 7 to 10 will take part in Week Without Walls, a dedicated week of experiential learning, bringing together camps, challenges and new experiences beyond the school gates.

The program will grow with our students. Years 7 and 8 will focus on building confidence, connection and independence through shared experiences, while Years 9 and 10 will have greater choice, with opportunities ranging from outdoor expeditions and sailing to food, culture and community experiences.
It’s a week to try something new, build independence, strengthen friendships and discover what you’re capable of.

On Tuesday, our community came together to recognise and celebrate NAIDOC Week.

While National NAIDOC Week celebrations typically take place during our school holidays, we have deliberately chosen to celebrate together as a school community, creating time and space within our school for this important week.

As Ms McGarry, our Principal, shared during the assembly:

“Schools are, by their very nature, places of generations. We’ve had 124 years of our school, and we inherit stories, traditions and knowledge from those who come before us.”

This year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, feels particularly meaningful as we reflect on the generations of knowledge, culture and stories that shape our community and the importance of carrying these forward.

The assembly opened with an Acknowledgement of Country, led by our Pre-Kindergarten 1 and 2 students, before we heard from Professor Peter Yu and enjoyed a special performance by the Aquinas College dancers.

We were also proud to hear from Gabbi, our 2026 School Captain, who shared her experiences and helped make the celebration a meaningful one for our community.

A few highlights from our Term 3 Dance Showcase💃

Our Year 10, 11 and 12 Dance students took to the stage to present a range of student-led group and solo works inspired by themes explored throughout their coursework.

The evening also marked the final performance of the year for our Year 12 ATAR Dance students, who presented excerpts from their practical examination pieces ahead of their upcoming ATAR exams.

Today, Senior School students headed over to Juniper St David's Aged Care as part of our weekly Aged Care Community Service Co-Curricular 🥹 💜

The visits give students the chance to chat with residents and join in shared activities, which could include games, artwork, hobbies, or even pamper sessions.

Held weekly throughout the school term, this Co-Curricular gives students a lovely way to build empathy and connect with our local community. Thank you to everyone who came along today!

Our 21 choral students and three Music staff have arrived in New Zealand for the Sisters of the Church Choral Festival! 🎶

Their first stop was St Margaret’s College in Christchurch, where they were warmly welcomed with a traditional Māori Mihi Whakatau before coming together for their first rehearsal.

Over the week ahead, our students will travel throughout New Zealand’s South Island, rehearsing and performing alongside students from the five other Sisters of the Church schools.

It promises to be a wonderful week of music, friendship and shared traditions as they come together through their love of choral music. 🎵

We wish our students and staff a fantastic tour and look forward to hearing all about their adventures when they return!
