The Contemporary Voice department at WAAPA is one of the fastest growing departments, boasting well over 60 vocalists across all four year groups. The vocalists are given many performance opportunities including; WAAPA In The Park, Radioactive at All Saints College, Radioactive Albany at the Albany Entertainment Centre and Radioactive Perth held at WAAPA, plus many more. The Contemporary Voice department is staffed by some of Australia's finest vocal specialists including Matt Allen, Victoria Newton, Carrie Pereira, Allira Wilson and Melody Itzstein.
