Giving Week Update

By God’s grace and through the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, we have now reached our original $20,000 Giving Week target.

With matching donations included, more than $40,000 has now been raised for the TCS Bursary Fund.

The matching has now finished, but with two days still remaining, we are setting a final stretch goal of $50,000.

Every additional gift will help strengthen the long-term stability of the bursary fund and support families experiencing genuine hardship so their children can remain within the life of the school.

Supporting Families in Need

At The Classical School, we are committed to forming children in truth, virtue, and Christian faith. It is careful, long-term work that bears real fruit in the lives of families.

As an independent community, we don’t receive government funding. This means that when financial hardship arises, some families are forced to step away—not for lack of conviction, but for lack of means.

We would like to change that.

Later this month, we’re hosting a Giving Week to grow our Bursary and Scholarship Fund, so that families can remain part of this work during difficult seasons.

All donations during Giving Week will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

"A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!" - Richard III

2026 is the year of the Horse and horses have been great friends of humans in our civilisational journey, and to Australia's development.

Last term, students in Years 4-10 created ceramic tiles depicting a horse. Students had the opportunity to hear from visiting artist Mara Wolmarans and spend a day drawing with horses at the Claremont Therapeutic Riding Centre. The clay pieces will be fired in a kiln and ready for display this term. We can't wait to show you.
