It’s been 12 months since Mount Isa’s St Paul's Lutheran Church Childcare Centre reopened 🙌 after locals from the St Paul’s Lutheran Church came together and raised more than $180,000 to get it up and running again.

Since then, finding and keeping staff has been the biggest challenge 🤝 but Director Corlia Pienaar says things are finally starting to settle.

👩‍🏫 “We’re looking at reopening the nursery class, maybe next year... we just need to find an educator who’s really reliable and consistent, and we want to make sure our care stays high quality.”

🌊🐠 What a wonderful morning! Our Nursery and Tiny Tots classrooms came together to celebrate National Sea Week with an engaging interactive and sensory experience prepared by our amazing educators, Miss Kiarra and Miss Roko. 🎉 The children dove into ocean-themed activities, exploring textures, and colours of the sea! 🌈✨ It was a joyful way to learn and appreciate our marine environment. Thank you to our dedicated team for making it all possible! 💙🌟
