📚 Year 9 Subject Selection Day 2026

On Friday, 28 August 2026, Year 9 students will attend Subject Selection Day at Spinifex Senior Campus.

🕗 Arrive: 8:15am
📍 Meet: Multimedia Centre

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities designed to explore the subjects available for their senior years and help them make informed choices for their future pathways.

It’s time to start thinking about your subjects for 2027!

📅 YEAR 7 — Friday, Week 7
Your Subject Selection Day will give you the opportunity to explore different subjects, take part in activities and find out what each subject has to offer.

📅 YEAR 8 — Friday, Week 8
You’ll have the opportunity to explore your subject options, participate in activities and find out more about the subjects available to you.

📚 SCHOLARS PROGRAM – 2027 APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

Applications are now open for the 2027 Spinifex Scholars Program, providing students in Years 7–10 with opportunities to extend their thinking, develop independence and build the skills and confidence to achieve their personal best.

The program provides an enriched learning environment where students are encouraged to explore ideas in greater depth, take on academic challenges and develop as independent learners.

📝 How to apply

Year 6 students joining Spinifex in 2027
Application forms will be included in enrolment packs provided during Transition Days in Weeks 5, 6 and 7.

Current Year 7–9 students
Application forms are available from the school office. The Scholars Program and application process will also be discussed with students during upcoming parades and Subject Selection Days.
