Today we celebrate an incredible career as we say farewell to Wayne Wright on his retirement after 16 years with us (2010–2026).

Wayne, you have been an integral part of shaping Krause Health & Safety into what it is today. Your passion for creating safer communities has been evident in everything you do, driven by your long and dedicated career as a paramedic and strengthened through your work as a safety advisor.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom. Most of the courses our students complete have been touched in some way by your knowledge, experience, and commitment to excellence. For you, it has never been about ticking a box — it’s about ensuring every student walks away with the confidence, skills, and understanding to stay safe in their workplace and to support others in their most vulnerable moments.

Your leadership, mentorship, and friendship are truly second to none. You are a credit to the training profession, and your legacy will continue to live on through the many people you have taught and inspired.

Wayne-o, you will be greatly missed. Wishing you a very well-deserved break and a long, happy, and fulfilling retirement — and remember, the door is always open if you feel like taking a break from retirement!

We’re proud to announce the successful delivery of our first SSHR course.

After 3 years of industry consultation, MSHAC consultation, development, and research, we are excited to bring this high-quality program to life. This course has been designed to support Site Safety and Health Representatives with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a meaningful impact in the workplace.

A huge congratulations to our first group of participants, who are already working in these vitally important roles and have now strengthened their knowledge and understanding throughout our 5 day program incorporating:

• RIIRIS301E – Apply risk management processes
• RIIWHS301E – Conduct safety and health investigations
• NAT11308001 – Apply powers and functions of a Site Safety and Health Representative
• NAT11308002 – Engage effectively with site safety and health stakeholders
• NAT11308003 – Manage worker safety and health complaint processes
• NAT11308004 – Review and report on Safety and Health Management Systems

This milestone reflects our commitment to strengthening safety leadership across the industry and delivering practical, relevant training that meets the needs of today’s workforce.
A huge thank you to Bill Tangye for driving this initiative, and to Wade for the immense amount of work invested in shaping this incredible program into what it is today. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment have been instrumental in bringing this course to life.
