At the end of last year our educators collaborated with Renae from Double Deadly Arts. We wanted a large artwork on canvas that represented our kindy community. The artwork is a visual representation of our kindy and its values. The Wombat and Koala represent our 2 groups where the children begin their learning journey, these groups are where friendships bloom and where the learning begins.

The footsteps represent each child’s learning journey, each step is a testament of growth and love from educators and families. The circle in the middle is our meeting place - our kindy where we grow, laugh and create a community together to celebrate a wonderful milestone in your child’s life.

Today Renae visited the kindy to drop off the completed artwork and the children enjoyed looking at the artwork and learning about the meaning of the dots, shapes and animals within the artwork.

We are so grateful to have a local artist like to Renae who is able to capture an idea and create something so beautiful.

We have loved watching the beautiful connections our children have made with The Therapy Dog Team. Jeff has provided beautiful moments of love and affection whilst supporting some of the children who were once unsure of dogs become so confident 🥰😍
