Well life happens and circumstances change so just a heads up for those parents looking for care for their little ones in Mount Isa that have come across my page. Reopening is still on hold, likely not before January 2024 if then but feel free to check in with me anytime. If you want me to let you know when things get rolling again, send me a message asking me to keep you updated (my version of a wait list) and we can see what your needs are when we reach that point before I send out a public post. Cheeky Kidz Family Day Care is relocating to Mount Isa. We would thank all our Sarina & Mackay Families for the opportunity to care for your children & the support of Mackay Family Day Care. We hope to be re-opening in Mount Isa towards the end of 2020 or early 2021.

I so love listerning to Neil deGrasse Tyson, he imparts wisdom and information that really gets to the essence of things but makes it so easy to understand. Things that as an early childhood teacher, you know can benefit young minds, that you already encourage, that you sometimes struggle to say or explain in words and concepts that the children will get but that can form a foundation for so many 'lightbulb moments' as I call them. He just brings a whole other level of eloquence to explanations and points out connections to other topics that people don't always see.

Cheeky Kidz Family Day Care is located in Sarina and still has 1 "fulltime" and 2 "restricted hours" places available for immediate start in Child Care (aged 6 Weeks to School age) on Monday to Friday. Bookings will also be opening soon for the Easter Vacation Period.

So after all the children made their own playdough in the colour of their choice, they made dinner, using the foods from home corner as insipration and to make patterns on the "food"
